Periyar

Periyar National Park and Wildlife Sanctuary  is a protected area in the districts of Idukki and Pathanamthitta in Kerala, India.

It is famous as elephant and tiger reserve and is located at the top of Cardamom Hills and Pandalam Hills.  The park is made up of tropical evergreen forests, lakes and eucalyptus. The big number of flowering plants together with the amount of animals give to this park the characteristic of being one of the most beautiful park of the country.

A sightseeing to it is strongly suggested.
