The tour starts at 10 AM in the morning. If you happen to be arriving in the morning on the tour starting date our representative will come and pick you up at the airport. Otherwise, we can pick you from your hotel in Delhi too.
Arrival in Delhi, after the customs formalities, meet with MTA Representative. Our representative will be waiting for you outside the gate number 5 with your name placard.
Start your day with the visit of Old Delhi also called Shahjahanabad. Visit the world famous Jama Masijd, the biggest Friday Mosque of India, which can host up to 20,000 worshippers. After the visit take a ride on a pedal rickshaw through the narrow alleys of famous Chandni Chowk Market. Proceed towards Rajghat – the Tomb of Mahatma Gandhi called as The Father of the Nation. In the afternoon visit Colonial Delhi Monuments, drive through Rajpath to view the Parliament House, the President’s House and India Gate. End your day with the visit of Qutub Minar, a Unesco World Heritage Site. Proceed towards the hotel. Check-in and overnight in Delhi.

After breakfast, drive to Jaipur. On arrival visit the Galta Ji Temple famous for the monkeys. Later visit Birla Temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu and Goddess Laxmi: the temple is completely built in white marble. Possibility of participating in the evening Aarti. Check in to the hotel. Overnight.

Drive to Agra. Stop for a visit of Abhaneri, an 8th century well palace founded in a village. Then visit the city of Fatehpur Sikri, the abandoned city built by the greatest emperor of the Mughal dynasty, Akbar. Proceed to Agra. Afternoon visit the wonderful Taj Mahal, the jewel of Islamic architecture. Overnight.
Morning visit Taj Mahal (1631-1653), built by Shah Jahan in memory of his beloved wife, Mumtaj Mahal. Later visit Agra Fort, Royal Residence of the Mughals built by Emperor Akbar. Afternoon visit Etmad-ud-daulah famous as Baby Taj Mahal. Overnight.
Transfer to Agra train station. Train to Jhansi. Drive to Orchha and visit Orchha, a famous feudal state of Bundelkhand and Jahangir Mahal. Transfer to Khajurhao. Dinner and overnight.
Breakfast at the hotel and departure for Allahabad, one of the oldest cities in India hosting periodically the Kumbh Mela, the largest peaceful gathering of the history of mankind and goal of pilgrimage. We will visit Sangam, the Anand Bhawan and the column of Ashok. Overnight in Allahabad.
Departure for Varanasi, the sacred city one of the oldest of Indian civilization, “the center of the earth ”, according to Hindu cosmology. Visit Sarnath one of the holiest sites of Buddhism. Buddha is said to have held his first here teaching to the five ascetics. In the afternoon visit the Ghat to watch the evening prayer. Overnight in Varanasi.
Breakfast at the hotel. Proceed for a walking tour of the old city, extending around the Golden Temple, the holiest place of worship for the Sikh religion. This gold-laminated gurdwara (temple) stands shining in the center of its sacred lake, offering a spectacle that some visitors compare to the view of the Taj Mahal. The atmosphere is authentically spiritual, the devotees pray and bathe in the sacred lake. We also visit the Jalian Wala Bagh, where the British in 1919 massacred about 1500 Indians who attended a rally. In the afternoon, possibility to make an excursion to the Attari / Wagah Border, the border with Pakistan, where we can attend the colorful and scenographic closing ceremony of the border. Overnight in Amritsar.
