Rajasthan gives a complete taste of India with its colourful and glorious lifestyle, the historical palaces, forts, temples, colourful Haveli and cultural uniqueness. This trip is a complete tour of Rajasthan which brings you in the land of royal families. Our tour will start from Delhi and go through Mandawa with its painted haveli, then cover Jungadh Fort in Bikaner, desert and Golden City of Jaisalmer, the Blue City of Jodhpur, the City of Lakes Udaipur, Pushkar, home to Brahma Temple, The Pink City of Jaipur and finally end with Taj Mahal, the City of Love in Agra.
Arrival at the airport in Delhi, meeting with our staff representative and transfer to the hotel. Overnight.
In the morning visit the largest mosque in India, Jama Masjid and the Raj Ghat Memorial, the place where Mahatma Gandhi's cremation took place. The day continues with a rickshaw ride in old Delhi. Afternoon dedicated to the visit of the Qutub Minar and the Sikh Temple. Dinner and overnight.
Transfer to Mandawa and check in to the hotel. Afternoon dedicated to the visit of this small town, a gem of Shekhawati region known for its painted houses and havelis. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Drive to the fascinating city of Bikaner, tucked away in the desert of western Rajasthan and characterised by beautiful sandstone architecture. In the afternoon visit Junagadh Fort, one of the most fascinating and best preserved fortresses of the whole India. Tuk Tuk ride to visit the old city. Dinner and overnight.
Drive to Jaisalmer, a city rising from the heart of the Thar Desert like a golden mirage. The commanding fort etched in yellow sandstone stands in awesome splendor. Arrive and visit Vyas Chatri at sunset and admire the beauty of the golden fort and golden city. Dinner and overnight.
Visit the historic Jaisalmer Fort, housing the entire township within its ramparts. Visit the lovely Havelis and beautifully sculptured Jain temples built between the 12th and 13th centuries. Sunset trip to the picturesque sand dunes of Sam and a camel safari. Dinner and overnight.
After breakfast departure for Udaipur. Enroute stop at the Ranakpur Temple, dedicated to Jainism and built in the 15th century. Within the temple complex there is a series of temples, some of which are dedicated to individual Tirthankaras, the 24 spiritual masters of Jainism. The main temple has 1444 columns, all differently and uniquely carved. Arrival in Udaipur. Dinner and overnight.
Breakfast and drive to Jaipur. Along the way stop in Pushkar. Visit to the town and the Temple dedicated to the lord Brahma and his beautiful holy lake. Continue to Jaipur. Arrive in Jaipur “The Pink City" built in the 18th century by Maharaja Jai Singh II. Dinner and overnight.
In the morning excursion to the Amer Fort. The fortress consists of a set of buildings and pavilions, that are reflected in the water of an artificial lake below the hill. In the afternoon city tour with a visit to the exceptional Jantar Mantar, a magnificent stone observatory. Enroute take a photo stop in front of the Hawa Mahal, one of the most famous symbols of Jaipur. Later visit the Royal City Palace, the former royal residence, built in Rajasthani and Mughal architectural style. It houses an excellent collection of paintings in miniature, costumes and armour. Jaipur is a great shopping hub for Indians. Dinner and overnight in Jaipur.
Breakfast and transfer to Agra. On the way, stop in the city built in red sandstone, between 1571 and 1585, by Emperor Akbar and abandoned only after twelve years. Arrival in Agra. Dinner and overnight.
Breakfast and full day dedicated to the visit of Agra and its famous monuments, first among all the Taj Mahal, one of the seven wonders of the world, a white marble mausoleum built between 1631 and 1653 by Emperor Shah Jahan and dedicated to his wife Mumtaz Mahal. The construction lasted for 22 years and it symbolizes the eternal love between the two. The day continues with a visit to Agra Fort, once the home of the great Mughal emperors. Transfer to Delhi. Dinner and transfer to the International airport.
