Upon arrival at Cochin (Kochi) Airport, complete your immigration and customs formalities. Our MTA Representative will welcome you at the exit gate with a placard bearing your name. Cochin, known as the “Queen of the Arabian Sea,” has been an important trading port for centuries and is famous for its mix of Indian and European influences.
Begin your sightseeing with the Chinese Fishing Nets, a unique legacy of early traders from China. Continue to the Mattancherry Dutch Palace (built in the 16th century), known for its detailed murals depicting scenes from the Ramayana and royal portraits. Visit the Jewish Synagogue, one of the oldest in India, adorned with beautiful chandeliers and hand-painted tiles. Later, stop at St. Francis Church, the oldest European church in India, where Vasco da Gama was originally buried. In the evening, enjoy a traditional Kathakali dance performance, an art form that combines elaborate costumes, expressions, and storytelling.

After breakfast, drive to Munnar, a charming hill station set in the Western Ghats. Munnar is famous for its rolling tea gardens, cool climate, and misty landscapes. On arrival, check in to your hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure. You may take a relaxed walk through the tea plantations or simply enjoy the natural beauty of the surroundings.

After breakfast, enjoy sightseeing in Munnar before driving to Periyar. Visit the Tea Museum, where you can learn about the history of tea cultivation and processing in Kerala. Later, continue to Periyar (Thekkady), located in the Western Ghats and well known for its wildlife reserve and spice plantations. Enjoy a scenic boat ride on Periyar Lake, where you may spot elephants, deer, and birdlife. In the evening, visit a spice plantation to see how cardamom, pepper, and cinnamon are cultivated, along with insights into Ayurvedic traditions.

After breakfast, drive towards Alleppey. En route, stop at the Sacred Heart Church, a peaceful church set amidst the hills. On arrival in Alleppey, board your traditional Kerala houseboat and begin a cruise along the tranquil backwaters of Vembanad Lake. As you sail, enjoy the sight of coconut groves, village life, and lush paddy fields. Freshly prepared Kerala meals will be served onboard.
