Once arrived, we'll enjoy a short break in this amazing fisherman village. Bars, restaurants and shops stud the walkway, before the hanging pedestrian path on the lake starts. This latter is called "Lovers' walk" and it will take us to the jetty, in the northern part of Varenna.
At 10.30 am departure by boat to Bellagio, arrival at 11.30 am.
Bellagio is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful tourist destinations, not only of Lake Como, but of the whole world. Ever since the 16th century, its beauty has been appreciated from both Italian and foreign visitors. Lake Como's landscape makes Bellagio really charming; here it is possible to enjoy many different views of the lake. Of course, also its villas, trees and flowers, its picturesque stairways and the different evocative paths make Bellagio unique.
Time available to visit Villa Melzi and its stunning gardens. Before reaching the villa, we have to walk along a tree-line boulevard, at the shadow of umbrella-shaped planes. Once arrived at the large terrace in front of the mansion, it is possible to admire the landscape and the architectural harmony of the building, reachable through a scenographic staircase.
At the end of the visit, free time to have lunch and more visits of this fascinating hamlet.
At 2.30 pm, after a brief stop, the itinerary leads us to Como, passing through a panoramic street flanking the left branch of the lake.
Once arrived in Como, tour around the city. This stunning city, lapped by Lake Como, boasts a captivating urban design, ancient palaces, lively squares, calm lakeside where to go strolling, but also many monuments to visit and unmissable tourist sights.
Behind the Cathedral and the Alessandro Volta's Temple, worthwhile to be visit is Villa Olmo. It is one of the most beautiful neoclassic Italian villas. Its name comes from a big tree, the elm (Olmo). According to the legend, Pliny the Younger, one of the most well-known personalities of the city, planted an elm there.
