    Arrival in Muscat
    Day 1

    You will arrive at Muscat international airport. Upon arrival you will proceed straight to the immigration. Immigration & customs are quick & simple. Upon arrival at the general arrival lounge you will be met by our MTA representative who will assist you to the comforts of our vehicle to drive you the hotel. Overnight at Muscat hotel

    Half Day Muscat City Tour
    Day 2

    In the morning, you will be met at the hotel for a half day city tour. The tour begins with a visit to the beautiful Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque, one of the largest mosques in the Middle East. Later you will visit Seeb fish market. Visit the Natural History Museum, exhibiting the wealth of Oman’s history and thus imparting knowledge about the country’s rich culture and traditions to the visitor.

    In the afternoon, drive to Qantab, one of the pristine beaches in Muscat. Later you will drive along the picturesque corniche to the once walled district Muscat. Visit Bait Al Zubair Museum. You will have photo stops at the residence of his majesty Sultan Qaboos, the Al Alam Palace, which is flanked by the 16th century Portuguese forts of Mirani and Jalali. In the evening you will be strolling through Muttrah Souq, where you will be bargaining for handicrafts and silver items. Overnight at Muscat hotel.

    Note: The Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque in Muscat can be visited between 08:00 – 11:00 hrs on working days from Saturdays to Thursdays and it remains closed on Friday and public holidays.

    Muscat – Nizwa
    Day 3 Transfer by car

    Today you will have a full-day visit of the historic town of Nizwa, Oman’s cultural capital. You will proceed to Jabrin castle built in the 17th century, one of the finest of its kind. Its magnificent plasterwork, the carved doors and the painted wooden beams of the ceilings make this castle amazingly different. Thereafter continue to Bahla, one of the oldest small towns of Oman and in the 12th century the capital of the tribe living in the region. As the monumental fort is closed for renovation only a photo stop is planned. Bahla is also famous for its pottery. Overnight at Nizwa hotel.

    Nizwa – Jebel Shams – Nizwa
    Day 4

    Morning visit to the the powerful Fort with its massive Circular Cannon Tower, one of the most impressive forts in Oman and the traditional Souq. Move on to Al Hamra and Misfah to see one of the oldest villages of this region. The traditional mud houses date back to 400 years ago and are still occupied. The falaj system used in this village is one of the oldest of this kind (UNESCO site).

    Thereafter drive to visit Wadi Gul & Wadi Nakhar. the remote villages exactly at the drop point of the great canyon. Then proceed to Jebel Shams, one of the highest peaks of Jabel Akdhar mountain range and popularly known as the Great Canyon of Oman. Picnic lunch will be served at a suitable place. Overnight at the hotel in Nizwa.

    Nizwa – Wahiba
    Day 5 Transfer by car

    Morning drive to Wahiba sands, via Birkat A Mauz and Ibra. Wahiba sands are a vast mass of undulating red and white sea of sand. The ever-changing patterns of the dunes are a photographer’s delight. After some exciting sand dune driving which offers excellent thrills and chills for all, in the evening watch the spectacular sunset from the top of the dunes. BBQ dinner and overnight at the desert camp.

    Wahiba – Sur
    Day 6 Transfer by car

    Your first destination is Wadi Bani Khalid – an oasis spot in the middle of the barren and dry mountains. It is one of the most beautiful wadis in Oman and its pools with clear deep blue water give you an opportunity to take a refreshing dip. Enjoy the ambiance of the Wadi. Then visit Sur, renowned for its dhow shipyard in former times. After an early dinner you will visit the turtle sanctuary at Ras Al Jinz, where at night the green turtles, after a journey of thousands of kilometers will come ashore to lay their eggs. You then return to hotel for overnight.

    Sur – Quirat – Qalhat - Muscat
    Day 7 Transfer by car

    Visit the fish jetty and dhow factory. Visit the Sineslah Fort. The ruins of Bibi Miriam's Tomb can be seen at the village of Qalhat on the coastal road to Muscat. Stop at Fins beach. Our next stop is the Bimah Sinkhole, a spectacular limestone crater with blue green water at the bottom. On clear sunny days while driving along the coast one might get the chance to see sharks in the deep blue water or fleet footed gazelles sprint across the landscape. Proceed to Wadi Arbayeen which has refreshing deep pools of water set among the date palms. Before returning to Muscat via Quriyat overnight stay at Muscat hotel.
