After breakfast, enjoy a guided city tour of Muscat. Begin with a visit to the Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque, one of the largest and most beautiful mosques in the Middle East, known for its grand prayer hall and magnificent chandelier. Continue to the Bait Al Zubair Museum, which houses a rich collection of Omani artifacts, traditional costumes, and historical exhibits that showcase the country’s culture and heritage.
Make a photo stop at the elegant Al Alam Palace, the ceremonial residence of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos, flanked by the 16th-century Portuguese forts Mirani and Jalali. Later, stroll through the lively Muttrah Souq, one of the oldest markets in Oman, where you can shop for silver jewelry, incense, handicrafts, and souvenirs.

After breakfast, drive to Sur, once a key trading port and now famous for its traditional dhow-building yard, where craftsmen still build wooden boats by hand—a practice that has connected Oman to maritime trade for centuries. Continue to Wadi Bani Khalid, a lush valley with sparkling blue pools and date palms where you can take a short walk or enjoy a refreshing swim.
Later, head into the golden dunes of the Wahiba Sands Desert, a vast sea of red and white sand dunes that stretch endlessly across the horizon. Enjoy a thrilling dune-bashing experience and watch the sunset from the top of a dune before a traditional BBQ dinner under the stars.

After breakfast, visit Sinaw, a historic Omani village with a bustling Bedouin souq, where locals trade livestock, dates, and traditional crafts. Continue to Birkat Al Mouz, a picturesque abandoned village listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site, known for its ancient falaj irrigation system and date plantations.
Arrive in Nizwa, the cultural capital of Oman, and check in to your hotel.

Start the day with a visit to the impressive Nizwa Fort, built in the 17th century with a massive circular tower offering panoramic views of the city and surrounding mountains. Explore the lively Nizwa Souq, famous for silver jewelry, pottery, and local delicacies. Continue to Jabrin Castle, one of Oman’s most beautiful castles, known for its ornate ceilings, carved wooden doors, and painted interiors.
Make a photo stop at the UNESCO-listed Bahla Fort, one of the oldest forts in Oman and a former capital in the 12th century. Drive to the mountain village of Misfat Al Abriyeen, a charming settlement of stone houses and terraced gardens located 1,000 meters above sea level.

After breakfast, explore Al Hamra, one of the oldest villages in Oman, where 400-year-old mudbrick houses still stand alongside an ancient falaj irrigation system (a UNESCO site). Visit Wadi Nakhar, a dramatic gorge also known as the “Grand Canyon of Oman,” before driving up to Jebel Shams, Oman’s highest peak at 3,009 meters. Enjoy breathtaking views of rugged cliffs and deep canyons, with plenty of opportunities for photography.

After breakfast, drive through the spectacular Wadi Bani Auf, an adventurous mountain route of steep bends and dramatic scenery, to reach the traditional village of Bilad Sayt, nestled among the Western Hajar Mountains. Continue to Nakhal Fort, a 17th-century fortress dramatically perched on a rocky outcrop and surrounded by palm trees. End the journey with a visit to the warm Ayn Al Thowarah Springs, known for their healing sulfuric waters, before returning to Muscat International Airport for your departure flight.
