    Arrival - CMB airport to Negombo
    Day 1 Transfer by car

    Welcome to the Pearl of the Indian Ocean!

    You will be greeted by our Sri Lankan representative at Airport and will be guided you to the Car and take you to the hotel in Negombo which is about 30 Minutes’ drive.

    Check-in and relax after a long flight. 

    Negombo is a popular fishing village & some call this the “Small Rome” you have more to explore tomorrow.

    Discover the Negombo lifestyle
    Day 2 Transfer by car

    Breakfast at the hotel & proceed to discover Negombo.

    One of the best ways to explore Negombo is by Boat. You will enjoy a Boat ride in the Lagoon or Sea by a Catamaran which is used by the fisherman most commonly. Pay a visit to the local Fish market named “Lellama” and buy one of your favorite sea food item. Then you will visit a local family / chef where you will join and cook the sea food in the Sri Lankan way with many spices. Enjoy the seafood lunch and return  to your Hotel.

    Yapahuwa Kingdom to Dambulla Cave Temple / Habarana
    Day 3 Transfer by car

    Wake up to the sound of the sea breeze. Enjoy your breakfast & start your journey to the Cultural triangle.  

    On the way you will stop by Yapahuwa Kingdom which was one of the capitals in Sri Lanka in early decades. The Citadel is built using granite rock with carvings and rising almost hundred meters above. Continue your journey to Dambulla and afternoon you will enter the Dambulla Cave Temple. This is a UNESCO World Heritage site which was built in the 01st B.C. The cave temple consists of Five caves with painted walls and ceilings which have more than 150 images of Buddha. Later you will arrive at the Unique accommodation spot for your overnight sleep. This is a watch Hut built on top of a Tree where in the earlier days and in present also locals used to spot Elephants from top to protect their vegetation.

    Explore the Rural Lifestyle of a village / Habarana
    Day 4 Transfer by car

    Breakfast with the locals.

    Start a walk through the back roads of the villages and on the way stop by a Blacksmith. Engage and help the family to carve a knife under his guidance. Continue your journey and visit a Saaree viewing family where they do it in the traditional way. Learn some basics or join them. There after you will stop by another local home where you will engage in a Cookery session and prepare some freshly harvested vegetables in an Authentic way in clay pots in an open wood fire. Enjoy your Sri Lankan Lunch and in the evening you relax at your Watch Hut while reading a Book or have a dip in the water hole with a chilled beer.

    Visit Sigiriya rock fortress
    Day 5

    After the breakfast, In the morning Climb Sigiriya Rock Fortress before the rock gets hot with the sun. After lunch start to climb Pidurangala Rock the opposite of Sigiriya where you can see the sun set over the Sigiriya Rock. Enjoy the surrounding and make the pictures of your lifetime from top where you have a 360 view.

    Among locals this is called as the “8th wonder of the world” absolutely marvelous fortress complex which dates back to 477 CE situated 200 meters high from the ground.  This giant rock fortress has water fountains, boulder gardens, frescos, mirror wall, relics of the castle and many more exciting monuments from the bottom to the top of the complex. This is definitely the most visited tourist attraction in Sri Lanka.  UNESCO has declared this ancient city as one of the World Heritage sites in Sri Lanka.

    Some people believe that Sigiriya is a post historical archeology turning point of Ravana. According to them, Sigiriya may be the Alakamandava (the City of the Gods) that was built up before 50 centuries ago by King Kubera who was the half-brother of Great king Ravana.

    Later you will return  to your Watch Hut for the overnight stay. Be alert in the night many be you will have chance of spotting a Wild Elephant roaming close to the property.

    Travel to the famous Kandy City
    Day 6 Transfer by car

    Enjoy a lovely breakfast and today you will travel to the famous city named “Kandy” which is another World Heritage city. You can also visit the city by Tuk Tuk while you are in Kandy. Kandy is a popular place to visit due to its famous Temple “Kandy Temple of the Tooth relic” and where the famous annual Festival of “Kandy Esala Perahera” is being held. The city is small so you can roam around by foot by visiting some Gem Museums and Souvenir shops or Batik Factories during your visit. You will have your overnight stay at an Eco Lodge in Kandy. Your overnight stay will be at an Ecolodge in Kandy

    Kandy is the hill capital of Sri Lanka, surrounded by sky kissing hills, green valleys, pure rivers, lakes and waterfalls. Kandy is also the cultural center of Sri Lanka and a UNESCO world heritage city. The most respected & celebrated Buddhist monument, the sacred tooth relic of Lord Buddha is placed at the Dalada Maligawa, the temple of the tooth which is the most important attraction in Kandy. Buddhist devotees from all over the world visits this place all year around. 

    Royal botanical garden, KCC shopping mall, the ancient lake in the middle of the city, Gem museums, souvenir shops & many more modern & ancient attractions are available in Kandy.

    You can also witness a colorful cultural show performed by the local traditional dancers.

    Explore the rural lifestyle of Kandy
    Day 7 Transfer by car

    Today after the breakfast you will visit a Local village nearby. You will walk about 2-km to a local school in the village. Here you will donate some pens, exercise books etc… for the school children and engage with the children and their teacher in a short lesson. Approx: a 20-minute ride in a local bus (which is not crowded) will take you close to the jungle-path which leads to a water-fall hidden in the jungle where you will feel like Tarzan & Jane! If you wish to have your lunch at the water-fall, you can inform the guide before leaving the Lodge. After an exciting journey you will return by a tuk-tuk to the lodge.

    Train ride to Ella
    Day 8 Transfer by train

    Morning breakfast at the hotel & you will travel like a local in the scenic Train Ride from Peradeniya (Kandy) to Ella through the misty mountains and Tea Plantations with the breathtaking view.     Explore the Wild Life of Yala
    Day 11

    In the morning you will visit a local village close by and meet a local family manufacturing Pottery as their day to day earning. You can learn about the Art of Pottery making with the family and create your own Pottery design as a souvenir to take back home. In the afternoon you will do a Game Driver in Yala National Park where you will spot Wild Elephants, Endemic Birds, Buffaloes, Reptiles, Crocodiles, Wild boar, Wild Deer and specially the Sri Lankan Leopard and Sloth bear if you are lucky in Sri Lanka. After a thrilling safari return your Camp and enjoy a BBQ Night at the Camp site with Bonfire in the wild. Overnight stay at a Semi Luxury Tent

You can visit Galle the beautiful colonial town along the Southern Coast of Sri Lanka is a city that cannot be missed. Galle is popular for the 300 year old fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
