Arrive at Cancun international airport and transfer to the hotel. Overnight.
Breakfast in hotel and departure from Cancun to see one of the least explored sites in the Ek Balam area. Then continue to the most famous archaeological site in Mexico, Chichen Itza, "Mouth of the Well of the Itza family" in the Mayan language, declared Unesco heritage in 1988.
Inside you can admire the Temple of God Kukulkan, also called Castillo, symbolized by the feathered snake, the astronomical observatory, the temple of warriors and the field for the "Juego de la pelota". Then lunch in a local restaurant and continuation to the capital of the State of Yucatan, Merida, a city still preserving the heritage of the times of wellness and European elegance from the French and Spanish colonial period.
Arrival and check in to the hotel. Evening at leisure and overnight.
Breakfast at the hotel and departure to the most important archeological sites of the "Ruta Puuc", Uxmal, featuring the representation of God Chac (from the Mayan language the God of Rain), in all the buildings. Uxmal, considered as the largest and most important site of the area, was destroyed and rebuilt three times, and hosts another monument of great interest which is "Casa del Adivino", better known as the Temple of the Magician.
After the tour lunch and return to Merida for a guided city tour and visit to the old town center, including Plaza Mayor and Montejo House.
Return to the hotel and free evening. Overnight.
Breakfast in the hotel and then you'll head south to Yucatan Peninsula, crossing Valladolid, towards the wildest archaeological site of area, Cobà.
The ruins are still mostly immersed in the thick vegetation of the "Selva Yucateca" and during the visit you can climb the 120 steps of the tallest pyramid of Yucatan, Nohoch Mul, to enjoy the unique sight of the two lagoons sorrounding the site and the numerous trees all around it.
Transfer to Tulum and visit to the splendid Playa Paraiso, free time to swim in the crystal clear waters of the Caribbean Sea. Visit the archaeological area, the only Mayan city built directly on the sea, which in the past was a harbour and a center for the sorting of goods carried by the boats reaching Mexico. Continue to Mayan Riviera and accommodation at the chosen hotel.
