Motorbike tour of Lake Como, departure from Mandello

Meeting in Mandello at Moto Guzzi House at 10 am, motorbike and equipments (gloves, helmet and jacket) delivery before meeting the guide, who will accompany us during the whole itinerary.

Departure at 10.30 to enjoy this unmissable motorbike tour, which allows us to visit and discover the lake, its amazing surrounding villages and unique landscapes.

We'll move northward the right side of Como Lake, passing through Lierna up to Varenna, an amazing fisherman hamlet, which dates back to the XI century. Varenna is set on the right bank of Como Lake. Time available to enjoy a short stop and drink a coffee in one of the many bars along the lakeside. Then, we'll take the boat to reach Menaggio, a small village with an unique lakeside and landscape.

Once arrived, the tour continues to Porlezza. This itinerary joining Como Lake to Lugano Lake and allows us to discover Sanagra Valley and the  Piano Lake Nature Reserve.

In Porlezza, we'll enjoy a break and free time to take pictures and admire Lake Lugano, one of the most beautiful pre-alpine lakes, thanks to its mysterious charm and different blue shades.

The tour continues across Intelvi Valley to reach Argegno. Then, we'll coast the left branch of Lake Como to arrive to Como. From the lakeside, it is possible to admire amazing natural landscapes, beautiful villas surrounded by rare and exotic plants and flowers.

Arrival in Como around 1 pm and lunch in a restaurant located in the city center. After lunch it is possible to enjoy a stroll along the lakeside. Como offers pleasant sights, among which the calm lake, the ancient walls, the Cathedral, Basilica of Sant'Abbondio, historical monuments and much more.

Around 2.30 pm departure from Como to Bellagio. We'll move along the interior part of Como Lake's left branch passing through Carenno and Nesso. Along the banks it is possible to spot grazing lands, woods, rugged rocks, and imposing and picturesque villages overlooking the lake.

Once in Bellagio, the itinerary takes us to the interior part of Como Lake's right side to reach Lecco. Lecco is famous for being the city where Alessandro Manzoni lived when he was young. It was in his house, the eighteenth-century villa Caleotto (now Manzonian Museum), that Alessandro Manzoni found the inspiration for the plot of his novel The Betrothed.

Lecco Lake's branch offers a more rugged and suggestive landscape, with the view of its Southern Grigna, formed by calcareous, dolomite rocks, and its Corni di Canzo, which overlook the lake forming beautiful coves and inlets.

Then, we'll move from Lecco to Abbadia Lariana and then around 5 pm to Mandello. Motorbikes and equipments delivery.
