After completing immigration and custom formalities, you will exit the airport and meet with your tour representative at the arrival area. After the customary greeting, your private chauffeur will whisk you away from the airport to the hotel in Negombo. Relax and enjoy your first evening in Sri Lanka, at leisure with your loved one by your side.
Breakfast at the resort and transfer to Sigiriya. Enjoy a special romantic candle-lit dinner at Wild Grass Resort. In Sigirya you'll go on an elephant back safari: not only does it make it possible to view wildlife while riding, but also gives you the chance to be familiar with the nature and behavior of tamed elephants. The holiday makers may opt to share a day with the majestic beasts by picnicking in the bush in the shadow of the elephant or by swimming, grooming, feeding the elephant too.
Breakfast at the resort. Climb Sigiriya Rock Fort: Sigiriya is an ancient palace located in the central Matale District near the town of Dambulla in the Central Province, Sri Lanka. The name refers to a site of historical and archaeological significance that is dominated by a massive column of rock nearly 200 meters (660 ft.) high. According to the ancient Sri Lankan chronicle the Culavamsa, this site was selected by King Kasyapa (477 – 495 CE) for his new capital. He built his palace on the top of this rock and decorated its sides with colorful frescoes. On a small plateau about halfway up the side of this rock he built a gateway in the form of an enormous lion.
Enjoy a special Puja ceremony for couples at a temple in Sigiriya and then have a tour on an elephant back and take an excursion to the ancient city of Polonnaruwa. Overnight stay in your resort in Sigiriya.
Breakfast at your resort. Drive to Kandy via Matale and visit a spice garden. Sri Lanka has long been renowned for its spices. Since ancient times, traders from all over the world who came to Sri Lanka brought their native cuisines to the island, resulting in a rich diversity of cooking styles and techniques. (Optional: Special cookery demonstration for couples, gives you the chance to cook for each other and bond in the process as well).
Visit Nalanda Gedige, an ancient complete stone building near Matale, Sri Lanka. This building was an ancient Hindu Temple constructed in between 8th to 10th century with Dravidian architecture. Overnight stay in a luxurious resort in Kandy.
Breakfast at your hotel. Visit Peradeniya Botanical gardens renowned for the variety of orchids. It includes more than 4000 species of plants, including of orchids, spices, medicinal plants and palm trees. Attached to it is the National Herbarium of Sri Lanka.
Visit the Millennium Elephant Foundation, an organization and charity set up to rescue and care for captive Asian elephants in Sri Lanka. In the evening visit famous painter Rahju, one of the country’s most eminent and reclusive artists, who has been living and working in Kandy for the last three decades. His studio showcases a personal collection of his own paintings. The experience allows visitors to have an intimate glimpse into his life and work, and to discuss the work with the artist himself within his own private and creative world. Overnight at your hotel in Kandy.
Breakfast at your hotel. Visit Temple of the Tooth, a Buddhist temple in the city of Kandy, Sri Lanka. It is located in the royal palace complex of the former Kingdom of Kandy, which houses the relic of the tooth of the Buddha. Leave for Gal Oya and overnight in a luxurious lodge.
Breakfast at your lodge. Enjoy a couple jeep safari in Gal Oya National Park, the most untouched of all of Sri Lanka’s national parks. It encompasses the country’s largest inland body of water, the Senanayake Samudraya Lake and many small islands providing some of the best places in the world to see the Asian elephant in its natural habitat. Picnic lunch by a breathtaking waterfall in the national park.
In the evening visit to an indigenous village: your Gal Oya lodge neighbors one of the last remaining communities of the Veddha people – the forest-dwelling, indigenous people of Sri Lanka. We can invite the village chief to take you on a walk through the jungles of his ancestors. Discover and learn about local nature as he brings the forest alive by explaining his tribe’s use of medicinal plants, ancient hunting grounds and cave dwellings, while providing a fascinating insight into how the hunter-gatherers lived in the jungles of Gal Oya. There are 80 acres of forest to walk in and explore hand in hand, with nothing other than a cool breeze, wilderness and sounds of animals to keep you company. Follow the path through the Jackfruit trees to discover the magic of the forest - monkeys, giant squirrels, exotic, colourful birds and butterflies are all to be found there. When you reach it, the Forest Ambalama is the perfect place to picnic, rest and watch the waterfall cascade into the pool below.

Leave for Galle and guided bike tour of Galle Fort in the Bay of Galle on the southwest coast of Sri Lanka, built first in 1588 by the Portuguese, then extensively fortified by the Dutch during the 17th century from 1649 onwards. It is a historical, archaeological and architectural heritage monument, which even after more than 423 years maintains a polished appearance, due to extensive reconstruction work done by Archaeological Department of Sri Lanka.
