    Colombo / Negombo (Approx. 00 hr & 45 min)
    Day 1 Transfer by car

    Arrival in Colombo in the morning or in the afternoon: transfer to the hotel in Negombo (about 45 minute) and accommodation in the reserved rooms (which will be available anyway from 2.00 pm onwards). Rest of the day available for relaxing by the pool.

    Negombo / Anuradhapura / Dambulla (Approx. 05 hrs & 30 min)
    Day 2 Transfer by car

    In the morning excursion to Anuradhapura, the first Sinhalese capital, from the 4th century BC to the 10th century. In the afternoon visit the beautiful temples carved into the caves at Dambulla. At the end of the visit, with a short "craft" catamaran ride on Lake Kandalama you will reach a point where one or two elephants (belonging to a private "elephant compound", exclusively open only for our customers)  bath together with their "mahouts": it will be possible to participate in the exciting bathing experience, playing with the elephants in the water and rewarding them in the end with delicious fruit!

    You will then return to the main road with another typical and original means of transport, the tractor.

    Dambulla / Sigiriya / Polonnaruwa / Dambulla (Approx. 01 hr & 30 min)
    Day 3 Transfer by car

    In the morning departure for Sigiriya: visit of the imposing fortress, declared World Heritage by UNESCO, built on the rock in the 5th century and about 370 meters high. 

    In the afternoon, visit of Polonnaruwa (also declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO), the second ancient capital of the Sinhalese kingdom between the 11th and 13th centuries AD, whose temples and sculptures are among the best preserved in the country.

    Dambulla / Matale / Kandy (Approx. 02 hrs & 30 min)
    Day 4 Transfer by car
    In the morning visit the beautiful temples carved into the caves at Dambulla (the temples are located on the top of a hill with 400 steps; the climb takes about 40'). Then proceed to Kandy: stop along the way and at a spice plantation at Matale.

    Kandy / Peradeniya / Nuwara Eliya (Approx. 01 hr & 30 min)
    Day 5 Transfer by car

    In the morning, visit the splendid Botanical Gardens of Peradeniya, and then proceed to Nuwara Eliya, a picturesque mountain station already known at the time of the British colony (1889 meters above sea level): along the way, stop and visit a tea factory and some fascinating natural glimpses.

    Nuwara Eliya / Yala Park (Approx. 05 hrs & 30 min)
    Day 6 Transfer by car
    In the morning transfer to the Nanu-Oya train station (10 km from Nuwara Eliya) and departure by train to Ella (about 3 ½ hours): the train allows you to make one of the journeys more evocative of the country, enjoying the wonderful mountain landscapes from a different perspective than the traditional "road" one Upon arrival, continue to Yala Park.

    Yala Park / Galle / Ahungalla-Kosgoda (Approx. 04 hrs & 30 min)
    Day 7 Transfer by car

    In the morning jeep safaris in the Yala National Park for the sighting of the many animals that inhabit the reserve (with a little luck it will also be possible to spot the famous Asian leopard!). Return to the hotel and breakfast. Then departure for Galle, a Portuguese, Dutch and finally English colony: time to walk in the ancient and charming Fort neighborhood.

    Ahungalla-Kosgoda / Colombo / Negombo (Approx. 02 hrs & 30 min)
    Day 8 Transfer by car

    Morning available for relaxing on the beach. In the early afternoon return to Colombo and panoramic tour of the capital. Transfer to the hotel near the airport, accommodation in the reserved room.
