As many cities of India, Mettupalayam boasts many temples, but the most famous temple is the Karamadai Ranganathar. This temple is popular thanks to its every year car festival, where thousands of people come to see the holy car of RANGANATHAR and get his blessings. Another important temple is the Matheswarar Temple, consecrated to Lord Shiva.
