A 7 nights-tour to explore the island; starting from Havana visit Sanata Clara, Cinfuegos, Trinidad, Camaguey to end your week in Santiago de Cuba where there is the possibility to extend your tour for a few relaxing days at sea, in the warm towns of the South of the island.

The tour starts visiting the most famous colonial streets of the capital city, a worth visiting is the Old Town, declared UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Visit of the renovated squares of the capital: Plaza de la Catedral, Plaza de Armas, Plaza de San Franciscode Asis, Plaza Vieja. Lunch in the city center. In the afternoon sightseeing tour of Campidolio, Preque Central, the Fraternity Park, the Revolution Square and the Museum-Foundation of Havana Club Rum.
Then, visit the Cuba's Classic Cars Museum and the viewpoint of the Castillo de los Tres Reyes del Morro, built in 1589 to protect the city against the pirates' attacks. It is one of the most important symbols of Havana and offers a magnificent view of the city and the bay.
Return to the hotel and dinner.

Departure for the Montemar Great Natural Park, where there is the largest swamp in the Caribbean.
Visit the Aldea Taína (accurate reconstruction of a village of the Aborigines) and the breeding of crocodiles.
Lunch in a local restaurant.
We will stroll through the city of Santa Clara and visit the Mausoleo Che Guevara.
The tour will continue to Trinidad. Once arrived, accommodation and dinner at hotel.

We will visit the city of Trinidad, a UNESCO World Heritage City. Here we will visit the Museum of Architecture, and stop in the Bar Canchanchara and Casa del Alfarero (the potter).
Free time during the afternoon.
Dinner at the hotel.
After dinner we suggest you to visit the House of the Trova, one of the most famous in the island. Here it is possible to listen to a good live Cuban music or just have a drink.

Visit to Manaca-Iznaga, in the center of Vallede los Ingenios. This area was one of the most prosperous in Cuba between the 17th and 18th centuries. It has been able to retains its splendor thanks to the cultivation of sugar cane and its processing to sugar production.
Then, departure for Camagüey, during the transfer we will visit the city of Sancti Spiritus.
Lunch in a local restaurant in Ciego de Ávila.
Once arrived in Camagüeye, we will take a panoramic tour of the city, known as the city of squares and Baroque churches. It boasts more than twenty, and it is also famous for "tinajones" (clay pots).

Transfer to Santiago de Cuba. Short visit of the city of Bayamo, the second oldest city in Cuba. It was founded in 1513 by Diego Velázquez.
Lunch in a local restaurant.
The tour continues to Santiago de Cuba and along the way we will visit the Cobre Sanctuary, the Virgen de la Caridad, who is venerated in this basilica, is the patroness of Cuba.
Arrival in Santiago. Accommodation and dinner at the hotel.

We will discover the second city in importance of Cuba: Santiago de Cuba. It boasts a rich heritage and music traditions. Santiago was the capital of the island during the first half of the 16th century. Nowadays it is known as the cradle of the Son and of the Cuban Revolution.
We will visit the Moncada Garrison, Céspedes Park, the Morro Castle, built in 1663, from its walls it is possible to enjoy an amazing view of the bay of Santiago. Inside it houses the Cuban Piracy Museum.
Lunch at the restaurant Cayo Granma.
Then, we will visit the cemetery of Santa Ifigenia to the House of Diego Velázquez.
Return to hotel and dinner. Evening at leisure.

Free time until the transfer to Santiago airport for the flight to Havana, airfare included.
Lunch in Santiago or Havana according to the time of flight.
Arrive in Havana, transfer to the hotel chosen to continue your stay.

Tour interessante, con tanta storia e mare da favola, davvero una bellissima esperienza.
Hotel non sempre pulitissimi, ma tutto sommato questo non ha rovinato la nostra vacanza.
