Shahpura House was built in 1956 as residence for the ex-rulers of Rajput clans. Then the house was converted in an hotel and its doors have been opened to welcome visitors from all over the world. Nowadays only a part is used as hotel where the guest will be received with all the honours.
The hotel is located in a residential area in Jaipur, it is located between the quite and the chaos of the city, far 4 km from the center.
Shahpura House has 38 rooms and one luxury suite, each one is unique. All rooms have LCD TV with satellite connection, internet and Wi-Fi access, safe, direct line telephone and mini-bar.
There are 3 restaurants and one bar: Rang Mahal with Indian and international cuisine, a restaurant on the roof, where it is possible to have a dinner under the starts and by candle light, a poolside restaurant to drink a tea or eat a snack and the Bar to drink a cocktail in relax.
The house is an example of Shekhawati frescos and architecture. It is also a curious mix of old and new.
