Cai Be

Cai Be is a district in the west of Tien Giang province, in Vietnam.

It is famous for its floating market, where the typical local products are sold: sweets, rice paper, puffed rice, fruits and vegetables. The wholesale market is located 10 minutes by ferry far from the city centre. In the market every ferry shown a long pole with a fruit or a vegetable, that specify which product is selling on board. The market is very lively especially three weeks before the Tet.
