You will leave with the Wonderful North India and Nepal tour in order to discover the beauty of the North of the India and plunge yourself in the Nepalese culture.
Every visited city will leave an indelible mark on you: from Indian's spirituality to the mysterious Nepal, with beautiful panoramas of the Himalayan's peaks in the background.
In the first half of the day enjoy city tour covering India Gate, President’s house, Humayun’s Tomb, Qutab Minar, Laxmi Narayan Temple.
After lunch we will visit the Old Delhi, including the Jama Masjid, Red Fort and Gandhi Memorial.
Overnight at hotel.
After breakfast, visit the spectacular Qutub Minar complex. Departure for Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan, called "Pink City" because in 1876 the maharaja Ram Singh had the old city painted of this color, always associated with hospitality, to welcome the Prince of Wales (and future King Edward VII) , thus inaugurating a tradition that still lasts today.
Jaipur has strong contrasts and a chaotic but colorful traffic: carriages loaded with fruit pulled by camels make their way through the streets full of cars, rickshaws, bicycles, scooters and pedestrians who try to juggle as they can. Men in Rajput costume sport colorful turbans and slicked mustaches, arguing heatedly out of restaurants serving spaghetti bolognese and American ice creams.
Among the streets of the animated bazaars strong colors dominate, from those of the sari to those of the thousand goods on sale. The atmosphere is particularly evocative in the evening, when the palaces painted pink and ocher magically reflect the light of the sunset. Arrival in Jaipur and visit of Galta, a famous monkey temple. Check in and overnight.
Take a full day long sightseeing tour of Jaipur city that includes the City Palace, Jantar Mantar observatory, Hawa Mahal, Birla temple, Albert hall and excursion to the old capital Amber.
Here at Amber, you’ll climb to the gates of the majestic fort on an elephant back. The fort displays a beautiful mix of Mughal and Rajput styles of architecture.
Optional trip to an ethnic village resort where you may enjoy traditional Rajasthani dinner.
Breakfast at the hotel and departure for Agra. Stop in Abhaneri, a small isolated village surrounded by undulating wheat fields, which has one of the most impressive wells in all of Rajasthan. Continue to Jaipur and second stop for the visit of Fatehpur Sikri, the most perfect ghost town in the world.
Emperor Akbar, who longed for a son, decided to make a pilgrimage to Sikri, home of the holy Salim Chisti. After the birth of his son, Akbar built a magnificent capital of incomparable splendor called Sikri, which was later abandoned due to lack of water.
Even today many, trying to achieve the realization of their desires, go on pilgrimage to the tomb of the saint, in the hope that grace as well as for the emperor, may fall on them as well. Arrival in Agra and accommodation and overnight.
