Here are the highlights of your tailormade trip:
Upon arriving in Maun, you will check in to your lodge on the Okavango Delta and spend the afternoon and early evening relaxing next to the pool and river. Dinner is served at the lodge. Then you will attend a briefing on the following days. The Okavango Delta is the newest member on the World Heritage Site list and a natural paradise. This area of land and water is home to a high density of wildlife and birds. You will spend 6 days exploring this exciting area. Full board.
In the morning, at your own expense, you will have the chance to take a scenic 45-min flight over the Delta. After that, you will have breakfast The guides will meet you at the boat landing at the lodge at 10:00am. Board the boats and enjoy your exploration to the first camp whilst game watching, birding, photography or just relaxing onboard taking in the magnificent views of the Okavango Delta.
Lunch will be served on one of the many islands along the way. In the late afternoon enjoy a sundowner cruise on a palm framed lagoon in front of your camp. Sit-down three-course dinner is served around the campfire. Full board.
Enjoy an early morning coffee, biscuits and cereals before exploring the island where your camp is located on foot. (Feel free if you’d prefer to sleep-in and enjoy a leisurely morning in camp). Cooked breakfast will be served after a morning walk. Board the boats for your journey to your next camp in one of the most spectacular areas of the Okavango Delta.
Even though vast distances are covered through the Okavango Delta, much time is spent drifting while game watching, birding, photographing or just relaxing onboard. Sometimes you will stop off on islands along the way to explore them on foot. Lunch will be served in camp before a sundowner cruise in the late afternoon. A three course sit-down dinner will be served around the campfire. The evenings are spent gazing at stars reminiscing about the day’s experiences in the Delta. Full board.
Early morning coffee, biscuits and cereals will be ready before exploring the island on foot. A cooked breakfast will be served before departing for a morning game drive by boat. Sometimes you will stop off on islands along the way to stretch your legs.
Lunch back at camp. Game drive and sun downer cruise on the Okavango Delta. Three-course sit down dinner is served around the campfire. Full board.
After morning activities, depart for a day trip up the Delta to enjoy the diversity of the upper section of the Okavango Delta, offering a very different experience from the previous days. Lunch and picnic on one of the many islands along the way. Return to camp after a sundowner drink on the river. A three course sit-down dinner is served around the campfire. Full board.
Early morning coffee, biscuits and cereals will be ready. Cooked breakfast will be served aboard the boats before travelling back to Maun. Relax and enjoy the last but very scenic day on the Okavango Delta. Light lunch/snacks on board or a picnic on one of the many islands in the Delta. Arrive in Maun at ± 17:00 at the lodge on the riverbank where you will enjoy a sundowner drink before dinner. (Total distance:450 km; Approx.driving time: 6 hours). Full board.
After a hearty breakfast you will head inland to the Central Kalahari Game Reserve travelling along sandy tracks. The Kalahari Desert is a semi-desert area and the largest continious stretch of sand in the world, spreading from South Africa to the Congo Basin.
You will spend three nights in the Central Kalahari Game Reserve at different camp sites. Everyday you will enjoya morning and afternoon game drive.

After three days in the Kalahari desert you will head out to discover Nxai and Makgadikgadi Pans, both once part of a vast inland lake, which subsequently dried up. It is now fed by seasonal rain which attracts thousands of water birds and wildlife. Vegetatation can’t grow on the salty surface of the pans, but on the fringes grass thrives along with massive baobabs.
Nxai Pan National Park is part of the greater Makgadikgadi complex and covers an area of over 2 000 sq km’s. You will spend the night at the atmospheric Planet Baobab on the edge of the Magkgadigadi Pans. In the afternoon enjoy a drive on the pans. The evening is spent around the fire under the stars. (Total distance: 250 km; Approx. driving time: 5 hours). Breakfast, lunch and dinner included.
From the Nxai Pan area, we drive towards Nata. The next stop is Kasane, close to the borders of Botswana, Namibia, Zambia and Zimbabwe and also where the Chobe and Zambezi Rivers collide. The drive will take you through concession areas where you may see elephant along the public road. On arrival in Kasane in the late afternoon, check in at your lodge. Breakfast and lunch included.
This morning you will set off on an early morning game drive in the world-renowned Chobe National Park. The park is famous due to the vast herds of elephants, buffaloes and other animals attracted to the Chobe River. You will drive all along the Chobe River Front and admire the wildlife. In the afternoon, you can take a boat cruise on the Chobe River (optional activity – own expense). Dinner is served at camp. (Total distance: 500 km; Approx. driving time: 8 hours). Breakfast and lunch included.
Today you will leave Botswana and enter Zimbabwe to see one of the seven natural wonders of the world – the Victoria Falls. You will visit the falls on arrival in town. The awe-inspiring scene of the 1,6 km wide falls is one you’ll always remember. Lunch is at Lookout Café overlooking the Batoka Gorge right underneath the Falls. In the afternoon enjoy a sunset cruise on the Mighty Zambezi River above the Falls (excluding US$10 park fees). Dinner tonight is in town. Full board included.
Our last goodbye, a healthy breakfast and the end of another incredible tour.
After a delicious breakfast you will travel to Namibia in the direction of Camp Kwando on the banks of the Kwando river, the border between Namibia and Botswana. Upon arrival you will check in and freshen up after the long drive. In the afternoon you can either take a boat trip, game drive or just relax at the camp. Dinner will be at the restaurant tonight. Total distance: 339 km; Approx. driving time: 5 hours). Full board.
After breakfast you will leave for Ngepi Camp driving through the Caprivi Game Park. Arrive at Ngepi Camp in the late afternoon. Our accommodation for the next two nights is in the wonderful tree houses at Ngepi overlooking the Okavango River.
Take a leisure walk around this fascinating camp or enjoy the swimming cage in the river completely safe from hippos and crocodiles. The birdlife at Ngepi is wide and varied. Dinner is served in the restaurant tonight. Full board.
Set off on a morning mokoro trip on the river. A mokoro is a tradtional dugout canoe made from wood. You will sail along the river with the Hambukushe people. On return to the camp relax and enjoy lunch. Later in the afternoon you can go on a guided Hambukushe and Xwe Bushman village walk (at your own expense) to experience the traditional way of life of the river people. Alternatively relax in this wonderful camp. Top off the day with a sunset boat cruise to enjoy this beautiful environment. (Total distance: 247 km; Approx. driving time: 3.5 hours).
Enjoy a relaxing breakfast in Ngepi Camp before saying goodbye to the local friendly people. You will then dive the short distance to the border post where you cross back in to Botswana. Once back in Botswana, you will make a brief stop-over at Sepupa next to the Okavango River before continuing on to Maun arriving in the early afternoon. Enjoy a special farewell dinner at your camp. (Total distance: 422 km; Approx. driving time: 6 hours). Breakfast and lunch included.
Transfer to the airport in Maun after breakfast in time for your flight back home. (Total distance: 45 km; Approx. driving time: 1 hour). Only breakfast included.
