Northwest of Argentina tour with San Pedro de Atacama in Chile

Arrival in Salta. Pick up at the airport and transfer to your hotel. In the afternoon, city tour through the city's highlights. Night in Salta.

Breakfast. Excursion to Quebrada de Humahuaca. An incredible trip through this World Heritage Site, where the landscape and the colours of the hills mix with the equally colourful cultures. Visit Purmamarca, Tilcara, Uquia and Humahuaca. 

Overnight in Salta.

Our tour back to the Heights will allow you to discover the imposing landscape of the Salinas Grandes (Great Salt Flats), located between the provinces of Salta and Jujuy. Let yourself be amazed by this scenario that extends over 200 km2, visit typical villages of the region, travel the famous National Route No 40.

Pick up at your hotel and transfer to the bus terminal to board your bus to San Pedro de Atacama. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel.

Overnight in San Pedro de Atacama.

Visit the National Reserve Los Flamencos, to go to the Valley of the Moon, where highlights the salt sculptures; and the Death Valley, characterized by its strange geological formations, its incredible rock sculptures and its sand dunes. Many people consider this area as the most inhospitable place on earth and we invite you to explore it. 

Visit to one of the most important geothermal fields of the world, the Tatio Geysers, where we will observe amazing emanations of water and steam up to 10 meters high, surrounded by the beauty of the Andes. Breakfast is included and a visit to the hotsprings from the mountains, also during the return to San Pedro de Atacama, we will visit the beautiful town of Machuca.

Depart for a tour to the Atacama Desert, to experience the sensation of floating on the beautiful turquoise waters of a lagoon located at 2300 meters above sea level. Visit the Cejar Lagoon, with high salt content waters, which allows us to float effortlessly. Then visit Ojos del Salar, two wells of fresh water in the middle of the desert and finally, the Tebinquinche lagoon where we will witness the sunset as closure of a spectacular day, an unforgettable experience.

Transfer to the bus terminal to board your bus back to Salta.
