The South and Western regions of Uganda have the largest concentration of national parks and Bwindi Impenetrable National is one of them. Bwindi is located on the edge of the Albertine Rift Valley hosting approximately half of the world’s endangered mountain gorillas. It is also home to other primates like elephants, baboons and chimpanzees, and 350 bird species.

On arrival at Entebbe international airport, your friendly guide will welcome you and transfer you to your hotel in Kampala.
We leave after breakfast for your trip to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park for an ultimate gorilla experience. Uganda is a country with spectacular landscapes, many bird species, cultural sites, and traditional homesteads that you will see along your journey. We shall make a brief stopover at the Equator to take pictures on both the Northern and Southern Hemisphere. Lunch will be in Mbarara or after arriving in the park later in the afternoon.

You will need to wake up early in preparation for a remarkable day with the gentle giants of Bwindi. This hike through the Impenetrable forest is an adventurous, fulfilling and unique experience as you trek the gorillas. Once you locate them, you are allowed one hour with them.

After an exhilarating day yesterday, you will embark on the journey back to Kampala city known as the friendliest town. Today marks the end of your adventurous tour in Uganda. Transfer to the airport in Entebbe to catch your flight back home.
