Stromboli

Stromboli is the Eastern island of the Aeolian archipelago, well-known for its volcano active since thousands of years, which regularly offer the amazing show of the lava eruptions. These explosions have always been a reference point for all the Mediterranean sailors and for this reason, it is often called the “Lighthouse of the Mediterranean”.

There are two villages on this island: Stromboli the main habited town and Ginostra, a small hamlet reachable only by sea.

Any nature lover will be fascinated by the panoramas and the lava shows of this island. Diving, snorkeling, sailing tours, rock climbing, there are the must-do activities during your holiday in Stromboli.

There are also two surprising beaches of black sand in the area of Piscità, miles of naturalistic paths and the small island of Strombolicchio, an antique residue of a volcanic funnel, hosting the marina’s lighthouse, today mechanized and uninhabited.

In the evening, you will enjoy the numerous alleys in the town centre and delicious dinners in the local restaurants and pizzeria with terrace over the sea and fantastic panoramas.
