6 Day Kruger park private reserve safari tour

Two shuttle bus available from Johannesburg's OR Tambo Airport at 6:45 am and 10:45 am from the Bus Terminal right outside International Arrivals. The drive takes 6-7 hours and travelling through a few touristic towns en route to the town of Hoedspruit.

Arriving in Hoedspruit you are collected by our driver who will transfer you to Manyeleti Main Camp. Entering the Reserve you are already able to spot wildlife en-route to Main Camp. Arriving at Main Camp, you will get a brief camp orientation and then checked into your room. There is time to freshen up and enjoy a light snack before you set off on a sunset/night safari drive in the Manyeleti Reserve. Safari drives in the Manyeleti will be accompanied by a ranger or guide who have a comprehensive knowledge of all flora and fauna found in Manyeleti.

You arrive back at the camp after dark and you can sip on a refreshing drink or coffee at the camp dining area before sitting down to dinner. Dinner is served and you have a choice from a three-course meal including starters, main course, and dessert. After dinner spend time around the fire sharing stories of the day before retiring to your room for a good night’s rest.    

Spend day 2 - 5 doing morning and afternoon safari drives in the Manyeleti Game Reserve. This 23,000-hectare private game reserve has unfenced borders directly with the vast Kruger National Park, as well as the famous Sabi Sands and Timbavati Game Reserves.

You will have the opportunity to spot the Big 5 animals like Lion, Leopard, Rhino, Elephant, and Buffalo, as well as an array of antelope and other wildlife animals that can be found in the Reserve. Arriving back at the camp after the safari drive, you are invited to relax and enjoy brunch at your own leisure. After brunch, there is time to walk around the camp or have a swim (depending upon the season of course).

Light lunch including sandwiches and snacks, fruit juices and ice cold drinks. You guide meets you in the restaurant area and you depart on an afternoon/sunset safari drive in the Manyeleti Game Reserve. You make your way back to the camp after an exhilarating drive where dinner will be waiting for you.

We offer as an optional but included activity a Panorama Route Tour. You’ll get to see renowned attractions like Blyde River Canyon, Three Rondavels, Lisbon Falls and God’s Window. We stop in one of the small towns en-route for lunch (own expense), too. This excursion is available free of charge and replaces your afternoon safari game drives for that day. It will be coordinated by our staff while you are on safari with us. (Note that this excursion is not available on the first or last day of your safari due to time constraints.)

Morning safari game drive. You will get a wakeup call from your guide and make your way down to the dining area for tea and coffee which will be served with biscuits before departing on your morning adventure. Arriving back at the camp after the safari drive, you enjoy breakfast then check-out from your rooms.

Your driver will be waiting to transfer you back to Hoedspruit where you will catch the shuttle bus back to Johannesburg's OR Tambo Airport. You are expected to arrive in Johannesburg at approximately 4:30 - 5:00 pm.

PLEASE NOTE:

Flights to and from Johannesburg & Hoedspruit Airport can be arranged at a surcharge and if you want to maximize time spent on safari then this is an excellent option as flying time from Johannesburg's OR Tambo Airport to Hoedspruit's Eastgate Airport is only 55 min.
