During your tailormade tour and trip in Namibia you'll discover that there’s an astonishing amount of diverse life in its dry landscapes. During yout vacation you will travel from the desert coast on a route north into the Kunene region, also known as Damaraland, where you could possibly encounter the desert elephant.     Windhoek - Swakopmund
    Day 1

    Depart Windhoek and travel to the coast. Visit craft market in Okahandja en route. A short lunch stop at Karibib or Usakos is scheduled (for your own account). Visit Goanikontes and the Moon Landscape. Arrive in Swakopmund in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight.

    Day 2

    Depart early morning on the salt road towards Henties Bay, past some pans and an array of bird life. Visit Twyfelfontein and the Organ Pipes on your way into wild Damaraland. A packed lunch is provided en route. Arrive at the lodge during the late afternoon.

    Discover Damaraland
    Day 3

    Morning at leisure until lunch at the lodge. In the afternoon join a sun downer drive in the Aba Huab River and possibly encounter the desert dwelling elephants (seasonal).

    Day 4

    Leave Damaraland. Visit a Damara village near Twyfelfontein and learn more about the culture and the tradition of this half-nomadic people. Continue via the little town of Outjo. Lunch stop (for own account) - possibly meet fellow guests joining the Etosha tour. From there continue to Etosha National Park. Arrive in the early afternoon and undertake your first game drive into the park.

    Day 5

    Day excursion into the Etosha Park. Except for the rainy season, Etosha’s animals are dependent on artificial waterholes and natural springs. Explore the various waterholes along this enormous saltpan in a closed vehicle game drive (open vehicle game drives are optional and for own account). Lunch stop at one of the rest camps (lunch for your own account).

    Etosha Park
    Day 6

    Continue discovering the huge variety of wildlife in the Etosha Park in a closed vehicle game drive (open vehicle game drives are optional and for own account). Of the 114 mammals species found here, several are rare and endangered like the black rhino or the black faced impala. Your guide will also introduce you to the complex subject of managing such an enormous reserve. Lunch stop at one of the rest camps (lunch for own account).

    Depart the Lodge or camp and travel south towards Otjiwarongo. Continue towards Windhoek via Okahandja where we will visit a local handicraft market. Tour ends on arrival in Windhoek late afternoon.
