Gorkhi-Terelj National Park in Mongolia is one of the most popular natural parks,located about 70 km from the capital and famous for the "Turtle Rock" and the Ariyabal temple. It is a very popular destination in Mongolia and many people come here on weekends to enjoy nature far from the capital.

    Visit Terelj Park
    Day 1 - 2 Transfer by car

    We will pick you up at your hotel, or at the airport / train station depending on your needs in the early morning to drive to Gorkhi-Terelj National Park. The temple of the park is very interesting and is strongly influenced by Tibetan Buddhism. You will climb a long staircase and you will find yourself in front of a wheel to turn that will stop on a number.

    Continue along the path to get to the temple. After visiting Turtle Rock and the temple we will head to the wonderful Terelji Hotel and Spa. Located in Bayan Bulagiin Hural in a building dating back to 2008, Terelj Hotel & Spa offers a tennis court and rooms with free Wi-Fi. A hot tub and a bicycle rental service are available to guests.

    The next day we will ride a horse at the Terelji park area. If you do not like to ride on request other activities such as fishing and boating are possible. Finally we will return to Ulan Bator.
