Here are the highlights of your talor-made trip and tour:
Welcome in India! On arrival you will be transferred and assisted to your room in your hotel in Delhi. Remaining day at leisure.
In the first half of the day enjoy a city tour covering India Gate, the President’s house, Humayun’s Tomb, Qutab Minar, Laxmi Narayan Temple. After lunch enjoy a city tour of Old Delhi covering Jama Masjid, Red Fort, Gandhi Memorial followed by a sound & light show at Red Fort. Overnight at the hotel.
After a leisurely breakfast move out to visit the holiest city of Rajasthan. On the way visit Ajmer. Take a pleasant walk on the street around the sacred pond and Ghats up to Brahma temple. The entire day is free to explore the spiritual facets of Pushkar on your own.
After a leisurely breakfast drive to Udaipur. On arrival check in to your hotel. Udaipur is known for its lakes and the Hotel Taj Lake Palace. The Lake Palace seems like floating on the calm waters of Lake Pichhola. In the evening take a sightseeing tour of the breathtaking royal buildings around the lake on a boat tour.
Take a full day sightseeing trip of the city which includes the visit to the City Palace (note the trees growing at the top floor of the palace, which is actually the summit of the hill the palace is covering!), and Saheliyon ki bari. In the evening you may visit the Shilpgram or explore the interesting labyrinths around Jagdish temple at your discretion.
In the morning drive to Jaipur in your exclusive vehicle. On arrival check in at your hotel. In the evening take a walking tour of the colorful streets and bazaars of Jaipur City. The beauty of Jaipur is that its unique architecture and town planning is visible at even the most commonest places such as its squares and lanes. Dinner with an Indian family.
Take a full day sightseeing tour of Jaipur city that includes the City Palace, Jantar Mantar observatory, Hawa Mahal, Birla temple, Albert Hall and an excursion to the old capital Amber. Once at Amber, you’ll ascend the gates of the majestic fort on an elephant back. The fort displays a beautiful mix of Mughal and Rajput archtectural styles. In the evening you will be taken to an Indian restaurant to enjoy some Indian food.
Free day to celebrate the Holi Festival.
Drive to Agra. On the way visit the abandoned citadel of Mughal emperor, Akbar known as Fatehpur Sikri. On arrival check in to your hotel. Later visit the Taj Mahal and Agra Fort. Evening free to relax.
Drive to New Delhi. At the appropriate time your will be transferred to New Delhi international airport to board the flight back to home. The tour ends.
