Pantelleria

Its volcanic origin is proved by the numerous craters nowadays not active anymore, but hosts of fantastic thermal springs, natural saunas, all surrounded by vapors coming out from under rocks, the last traces of the old volcanic activity.

In addition to the marine wonders, Pantelleria offers much more, like the benefic natural mud bath of the Lago di Venere (Venus lake), the panoramic Montagna Grande (the large mountain) and the valleys where the famous “Passito” is made and home of the characteristic “Dammusi”, houses made from the expansion of natural caves.
