Dhanushka Wijeyekoon

I am very passionate about displaying the beauty & authenticity of Sri Lanka to travelers around the world. Sri Lanka is a compact tropical island destination with a lot of natural, man-made attractions & hero experiences. 

I started my professional career as a salesperson and worked in various multinational companies in Telecom and ICT industries in Sri Lanka, then moved to Inbound tourism/destination management and climbed the corporate ladder in the hospitality and tourism sector. I have held the positions of Head of marketing and General manager in different inbound tour operating companies before inventing Koon Holidays.

I am a visiting lecturer at various higher education institutes in Sri Lanka and facilitates the younger generation by educating them about Marketing, hospitality, tourism, international business & sustainability.  I have traveled to over 25 countries in the world and possess in-depth knowledge of world tourism and an avid traveler who enjoys and discovers the various aspects of different local cultures around the world.
