The trekking trail runs through the lower part of the Annapurna region, through the woods of pine, rhododendron and juniper. The main objective of this trek is to reach the village of Ghorepani (2874m) and hike up to Poonhill (3210m). Ghorepani is a small village amidst forests with a stunning array of rhododendron flowers where you will be amazed by the warming hospitality and culture of ethnic Gurung community. You can also visit the Gurung Museum and buy local handicrafts to support the local economy. One of the important highlights of this trip is to ascent on Poon Hill at an altitude of 3210meters.
You will enjoy the most spectacular mountains on Earth. When sun rises, it touches the snow-capped summits the Himalayan giants, Dhaulagiri (8,167m) and Annapurna (8,091m) along with a maze of other peaks, there gradually appear, just like magic that your eye could not believe. During Annapurna Panorama Trekking, you will be rewarded by the natural beauties in your each and every footstep.
The Annapurna Panorama Trekking can be done round the year however the Himalayan views are most clear during Spring and Autumn season. The trek begins at Nayapool in Pokhara and ends at Jhinu village.
As an optional trip, you will have a chance to do a three hours rafting on the way to Pokhara.
Welcome to Kathmandu. Once you reach the airport in Kathmandu, you will bereceived by our representative who will help you with the transfer to the hotel on a private car or a bus. After checking into your hotel, you can rest or start to explore the city at leisure.
Begin your sightseeing tour from the hotel after breakfast at around 8:30 am. You will travel on a private vehicle with a professional tour guide for the tour. You will start your sightseeing tour from the largest Hindu temple called Pashupatinath, then visit Bouddhanath and Swoyambhunath (the Monkey temple).
At the end of the day, you will visit Durbar Square and then drive back to the hotel to attend a short briefing about the trek.
We drive you to Pokhara, one of the most beautiful places on earth. The town offers magnificent views of Dhaulagiri, Manaslu, Machhapuchhare, five peaks of Annapurna and others. Pokhara owns numerous lakes, offers fishing, boating and swimming. It is also the gateway for trekking in the Annapurna Region. Reaching Pokhara, we visit Davis Fall and Gupteshwar Gufa Cave (also called Shiva Gufa). In the late afternoon, explore the surrounding lakeside and see the reflection of the Fish Tail Peak on the lake.
Optional: 3 hours Rafting on Trishuli River on the way to Pokhara.

One hour drive to Nayapul by private bus we then begin trek to Tikhedhunga.We begin our trek from Nayapul, driving to the road head. After 15- minutes short walk along the bank of the Modi Khola, we reach Birethanti (1065m) a large village that has many shops and teahouses. The trail continues through the village. The trail follows the north bank of the Bhurungdi Khola. We then climb steadily up the side of the valley to Hille at 1495m and Tikhedhunga at 1525m. Leaving Tikhedunga, we begin our journey with a steep climb to Ulleri. Ulleri is a large Magar village at 2200m.
The trail continues to ascend more gently, through fine forests of oak and rhododendron towards Banthanti at 2250m. Then we make our trek towards Nangethanti at 2460m. After an hour walk brings you to Ghorepani at 2775m.
This morning, we will get up early in the morning, and go for hiking to Poon Hill. From here you will see superb view of sunrise, and panoramic view of Himalayas, including Mt. Dhaulagiri, Annapurna South, Fishtail, and many others. After visiting Poonhill, we will come back to Ghorepani, have a hot breakfast, and continue walking to Ghandruk. We take a lunch at Banthanti or Tadapani.
From Tadapani the trail drops down through rhododendron and oak forests, arriving at Ghandruk for lunch. Ghandruk is traditional Gurung Village, and one of the highest permanent settlements in the valley with tremendous view across to Annapurna South and Machhapuchhare 6097m.
It's a fairly easy walk down to Saul bazaar the flat until arrive in Nayapool. Private vehicle will be used for transfer to Pokhara.
Drive back to Kathmandu via the same way. Take a rest for a few while then come out for shopping /walking etc....
We drive you to the Pashupatinath Temple the holiest Hindu Temple. Cremation of the death body takes place on the banks of Bagmati River. Then proceed to the tour of the biggest of the Buddhist Stupa architecture. Erected in the 17th century, it is believed to be a "must visit" pilgrimage site for Buddhist in their lifetime. Boudhanath area is densely inhabited by Tibetan refugees and carries the name of Little Tibet. Then take a sightseeing tour of Bhaktapur City, just a 14 kms east of Kathmandu. Bhaktapur means the city of devotees and is a center of pottery and intriguing masks. The major sightseeing places are Durbar Square, Nyatapola, Bhairavnath Temple, Dattatreya Temple etc.
Evening: Farewell Dinner with Nepali Cultural program show.
Our representative will transfer you to the airport from where you will catch your flight.

Down or fiber filled waterproof jacket and trousers, sweater or fleece jacket, underwear, warm and cotton trousers or jeans, shirts and T-shirts, shorts, long underwear, wool hat, sun hat, gloves, bathing suit, track suit.

Sleeping bag (4 seasons), trekking holdall or stash sack with lock, daypack, water bottle, sun cream, sunglasses, flashlight with spare bulbs and batteries, lip salve.
