Morocco tour along the route of the dunes

Arrival and greetings at Marrakech airport. Transfer to the riad, overnight and dinner at leisure.

Departure to Ouarzazate from Tizi'n'Tichka (2,260 meters), the highest road in Morocco. Beautiful Berber villages are spread on the foothills of the Central High Atlas. While crossing the valley with the gems of Assif Ounila you will visit Glaoui Telouet kasbah. Arrival in Ait Ben Haddou and tour. Dinner and overnight in a typical accommodation.

You will travel along Tifernine and Jjbel Anouar ad Agdz road. Here starts the Draa route, an ample oued flanked by magnificent palm groves and desert landscapes. Ksours and kasbahs follow one another till reaching Zagoura oasis. Visit the quarter of the vase makers in Zaoula Naciria and the library. Some works dating back to the 13th century are manuscripts on gazelle skin. Overnight in hotel.

Crossing the wide desert plateau close to the Sahara, you will discover one of the last oases of Tafilalet before reaching Rissani and then the beautiful dunes of Merzouga. Overnight in nomad-style tents made with goat hair. An experience that you'll never forget!

Extaordinary sunrise on the dunes of Merzouga and departure to Tinerhir along a beautiful road flanked by palm groves and villages, heading to Boumalne du Dades to visit Dades gorges.

Return to Marrakech through the valley of the thousand kasbahs along a beautiful road crossing the High Atlas. You'll descend into Haouz plain, crossing many villages. Dinner at leisure and overnight in riad.

Tour of the city with professional guide: see the symbol of Marrakech, the Koutoubia, a copy of the Giralda in Seville and Tour Hassan in Rabat, Saad tombs, Bahia palace, the gardens and Menara basin. In the afternoon visit the Medina and its colorful souks for some shopping. Dinner in a local restaurant savouring Berber dishes with music and bellydancers. Return to the riad and overnight.

After breakfast, transfer to Marrakech airport.
