This short tour is a mouth-watering adventure between the Langa and the Roero in Piedmont, Italy, dedicated to the search for truffles.
Arrival in the early afternoon in the Bassa Langa, historical territory that became part of the UNESCO Heritage, with Alba representing its largest urban center. These lands are renowned for their wines, truffles, typical products and splendid landscapes characterized by the vineyards that symbolize this land and the union between man and the territory in which he lives.
Upon arrival, check-in at the property. Afterwards during the afternoon there will be a visit to a well-known winery dating back to the late 800, during the tour you can also visit the museum in the structure. At the end of the visit there will be a tasting where it will be possible to taste more wines and typical local products. At the end of the day dinner in the Langa with a typical menu.
The second day check out in the morning and transfer to the Roero in the small town of Montà d'Alba, famous for the castle that stands in the highest part of the village and the sanctuary that is located just outside the center. In Montà the truffle search activity is scheduled, which will give you the opportunity to discover the characteristics of this renowned product, its history and the techniques used to search and find it, while being immersed in nature and in the frame of the UNESCO hills. At the end of the activity there will be a tasting of truffle-based products and a glass of wine. Free afternoon and return.
