The residential structure, the castle, was begun in 1681, on one of its walls the frame of the ancient gateway to the fortified village that collapsed in 1951 is still visible.

The second village that runs along the tour is the village of Roccaverano to get to the beautiful church of San Giovanni which was the ancient parish church of Roccaverano, built in 1509. A few hundred meters from the church is the thirteenth-century tower of Vengore which served as a lookout towards the Bormida di Spigno valley, the Ponzone and the Acquese.

Going back you will then come to Roccaverano, a characteristic town of Asti area that dominates the surrounding area of the Asti Langa from its 800m. The 30m tower is surrounded by the recently renovated castle walls of which it was a part. In the area below the castle the small village develops, made of small houses built with the famous Langa stone. The heart of the town is Piazza Barbero where it is possible to admire the sixteenth-century church of Santa Maria Annunziata, built in Renaissance style, whose facade is attributed to Bramante.

After the break to regain strength, return to Vesime through woods and dirt roads on the ridge of the hill that divides the two Tatorbe up to San Giorgio Scarampi with its beautiful tower overlooking the valley (visitable). We continue on a panoramic dirt road to Bricco dei Galli farm, we go up and down to Cessole, return to Vesime with a stop enroute (for those who wish) at the ruins of the Castle of Vesime.
