Your English-speaking guide will be waiting for you outside of customs with a sign with your name upon arrival at Rio's airport. Your private driver will escort you to your hotel.
Transfer by car to Cosme Velho to take a train up to the Corcovado Mountain, through the Tijuca Forest. Once on the top, enjoy a fantastic panoramic view of the city and admire world-famous Christ Statue. Before returning to the hotel, visit São Conrado and watch hang gliders fly over the beach.
Today's sightseeing combines the historical highlights of downtown Rio with the modern attractions in the Porto Maravilha area, including the Olympic Boulevard.
Your tour starts in the Cinelãndia area, including Municipal Theater, National Library, and the Fine Arts Museum. Moving away from from the historic sites of Rio to the new and modern Port area via the new VLT light rail system, you will have the chance to see Mauá Square and learn about the history of Rio Port.
Visit Olympic Boulevard and the Graffiti Murals by Eduardo Kobra. Stop by at Rio’s Art Museum (MAR) to get a panoramic view of Porto Maravilha. Visit also the new Museum of Tomorrow, blending science and design with a focus on sustainable cities. On your way back, walk along Orla Conde to the Square of November 15th (Praça XV) and enjoy views of Guanabara Bay.
Here you can see the ferry station, the Imperial Palace and Tiradentes monument. Lunch is included and scheduled at Cafeteria Colombo restaurant, a historic attraction open since the early 1900s. In the afternoon, walk back to Carioca Square to meet your driver for your private transfer to the hotel.
Spend some time getting acquainted with Rio and enjoying its attractions like an insider! Have drink in one of the hip bars in downtown Rio and sunbathe on the beaches of Copacabana and Ipanema.
After an unforgettable day, experience Rio by night at Rio Scenarium, a unique show house located in the most bohemian neighborhood of the city, Lapa district. If you want to experience traditional Brazilian music, the Rio Scenarium is a go-to attraction.
After relaxing on world-famous and overcrowded beaches of Copacabana and Ipanema, today you'll head to the lesser known beaches of Barra de Guaratiba where you'll take a break from the hustle and bustle of downtown Rio de Janeiro.
Today is devoted to swimming in the ocean, with the chance to try you hand at stand up paddle-boarding during a one-hour private lesson. Lunch at Bira de Guaratiba, an award-winning restaurant specializing in seafood, is included (drinks are not included and are to be purchased on-site).
In the afternoon you'll have some more free time available on the beach before returning to the hotel.
Today's bike tour begins at Ipanema beach, featured in Tom Jobim's song, Girl from Ipanema. You will ride along the bike path to Jardim de Alah (Allah´s Garden), where a channel connects the lagoon to the sea separating Ipanema and Leblon beaches. The channel eventually leads to Rodrigo de Freitas Lagoon, surrounded by lush mountains.
You will pedal along the Lagoon bike path, passing by 3 parks, Vasco da Gama Nautical Headquarters and the main headquarters of Flamengo, the most popular football club in Brazil. The biking tour will end at Arpoador, where you will admire a beautiful sunset.
