Saint Vincent and the Grenadines is an island country, which includes 125 islands. These are part of the archipelago of the Lesser Antilles and are surrounded by the Caribbean Sea.

The largest island is Saint Vincent, where the capital city, Kingstown, is located. It also boasts the highest peak of the country: the active volcano La Soufrière. Saint Vincent and the Grenadines has a tropical climate, characterized by two main seasons: a rainy season and a dry one. The best period to discover and visit the country is from February to April, because during these months the precipitations are poor and there are not tropical storms, that could cause hurricanes.

Its territory includes beautiful and fascinating tropical colours. Indeed, these islands are rich in rainforests, featuring many waterfalls and brooks as well as typical animals. The forests represent the natural habitat of many species of animals, among which the endemic Saint Vincent Amazon, the opossums and the dasyproctidae can be found. The wonders of this natural environment can be discovered through the path fitted in the Vermont Nature Center, a park that has been able to preserve the wild soul of the untouched nature and defend the visitors against regrettable inconvenients, such as a snakebite or the loss of orientation.

The coastlines host wide sweeps of white or black sandy beaches lapped by a crystal-clear sea, that is the cradle of multi-colour tropical fishes and amazing coral reefs. These conditions originate the perfect landscape for those who love scuba diving or practicing every kinds of water sports, or even for those who love to relax admiring the clear horizon. The peace and calm that can be breathed on the beaches of Saint Vincent and the Grenadindes, allow everyone to forget the stressful and chaotic daily life. Moreover, this place is also considered as the "sailors' paradise", thanks to the favourable weather conditions. This is why every year many regattas are organized.

On the other hand, for those who love culture and art, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines also provides significant points of interest and many bars and restaurants. Worth visiting is the capital city, where mysterious and charming colonial buildings and rum shops are located. Here, it is also possible to find several churches designed according to the most different architectural styles, such as Romanesque and Gothic.
