Procida
Procida is one of the Flegrean Islands off the coast of Naples. Its name probably comes from the latin word Prima Cyme, that means "near Cuma", an ancient city of Magna Graecia.
On the island there are several worth visits, such as: the beautiful Castello d'Avalos, a fortress located on a hill and surrounded by a rampart. Marina Chiaiolella, it is the touristic port of the island, but it presents many wonderful beaches lapped by a transparent sea and several restaurants where tasting the local cooking. It is also an ideal location to enjoy the beautiful sunsets. Marina Corricella, the oldest harbour of the city, presents a nice village made of little colourful houses and many stairways and suggestive alleys.
