Shiraz

Shiraz in Iran is the capital city of the Fars region. The basic structure of the old Shiraz is known as the Zandiyeh Ensemble, recognized as World Heritage site, containing architectural elements from different periods. Shiraz is also the motherland of the masters of Persian classical literature.

The main highlights include Zandiyeh Ensemble, Saadi Tomb, Eram Gardens, Quran Gate, Jami' Mosque, Hafez Tomb, Nasir ol-Mulk Mosque and Narenjestan Museum.
