Antigua

Antigua, located in a mountainous area in the center of Guatemala, was declared national monument in 1944 and was included by Unesco in its World Heritage Sites list in 1979.

It is possible to find examples of the Hispano-American architecture belonging to the domination's period. In addition, its landscape boasts the presence of 3 big volcanoes that dominate the city.
