The “Paese dei due Parchi” project was born on the initiative of Castrum 2019, a cooperative company founded in 2016 that combines the passion of a group of young people for their territory.
It starts from Castelsaraceno (PZ), which has long been known as the "Country of the two Parks", precisely because of its strategic geographical location which allows it to belong simultaneously to the Pollino National Park and to the Appennino Lucano-Val D'Agri-Lagonegrese National Park.
The main objective is to promote and enhance the tourist services of the territories that come together in this magnificent village.
An essential element of the project is the establishment of the tourism portal, which acts as a showcase and marketing tool for accommodation activities, places and for the promotion of local products.
A real gateway for tourists who want to know the uniqueness and extraordinary nature of these unspoiled places rich in history and traditions.
All this is accompanied by the activity of Destination Management, through the organization and management of tourist packages in the territories of the two Parks and in Basilicata in general, through the support and collaboration of important national and international travel agencies and tour operators.
