Formentera

Formentera is a real paradise on Earth. This small island of the Balearic is the perfect location for enjoying quite time on wonderful beaches and swims in one of the clearest waters in the world. Its spectacular natural panorama made it declared Natural Reserve and UNESCO Human Heritage.

The beaches of Formentera are all of amazing beauty. Illetes and Llevant are the most famous ones and also the most crowded, for their perfectly white sand and Caribbean waters. The bays of Cala Sahona and Migjorn instead, are much quieter and ideal for enjoying some tranquility.

The main town centers are San Francesc Xavier, San Ferran de Ses Rowues, El Pilar de la Mola and La Savina. Some of these locations, like Fonda Pepe and El Pilar, host historic hippy reunions, and every Wednesday and Sunday, the hippy markets offer rich stands of lovely souvenirs and articles.
