1. Copacabana
Copacabana is probably the most famous beach in Rio de Janeiro. Located in the south, it is not popular for the sea as for the nightlife, events, football matches improvised at any time of day. It is located in the homonymous district, the most populous and known of Rio.
2. Ipanema
Another very famous beach in Rio is that of Ipanema, in the most chic district of the city. Located between the ocean and the lagoon, it has been dedicated to a famous song bossanova, "Garota de Ipanema".
3. Arpoador
Less known than the lively beaches of Ipanema and Copacabana, Arpoador is also a beach in Rio. From the most relaxed atmospheres, it is loved by surfers and offers breathtaking sunsets.
4. Fernando de Noronha
The archipelago Fernando de Noronha is an archipelago of incomparable beauty, full of fabulous beaches loved by surfers and divers. Praia da Sancho is one of the most beautiful beaches, but they all leave you breathless.
5. Jericoacoarà
At 300 km from Fortaleza in the state of Ceara, here is Jericoacoara, a paradise for surfing. The landscape is characterized by thin sand dunes that reach the sea.
6. Lopes Mendes
At 170 km from Rio, Ilha Grande is a small island of waterfalls, lagoons and many wild beaches, among which the most sensational is Lopes Mendes.
7. Lagoinha do Leste, Florianópolis
A beach in southern Brazil, near the town of Florianopolis, with a thin white beach, ideal for surfing, windsurfing and nature excursions.
8. Praia do Forno
Not far from Rio, Praia do Forno is a lively beach with sand like talcum powder and intense blue water.
9.Barra Beach, Salvador de Bahia
Porto da Barra Beach is located in the Barra district of Salvador de Bahia, at the entrance to the Baía de Todos os Santos. There is a small colonial fort and a white church on a hill. The water is calm and the sunsets wonderful.
10. Joaquina Beach
Beach of the city of Florianopolis in southern Brazil, much appreciated by surfers but also by lovers of other sports including sandboarding, or surfing on the sand dunes.
