Cayo Largo

Described as one of the most charming cayos (islets) in the Pearl of the Caribbean, it derives its name form the slightly elongated shape. Here you'll find white sand, sea turtles, pelicans and a rich sea bottom for diving and snorkeling lovers. Located in Los Canarreos archipelago, its top beaches include Playa Paraiso and Playa Sirena.

Baracoa

Another recommended beach is situated near the colonial town of Baracoa, one of the most ancient urban settlements in Cuba. Driving out of the town center for about two kilometers, you will reach Playa Blanca, where the sand is obviously very white and the sea is crystal clear. This beach is protected by a reserve accessed only by paying a fee: the ideal choice for anyone looking for an unspoilt environment. Those who want to travel even further, 20 km away there is also Playa Maguana, with golden sand beaches and palms all around.
