Koh Rong
Koh Rong is one of the most beautiful and untame beaches in South East Asia, reached by boat from Sihanoukville: a real wild paradise with beautiful beaches, inclunding the long Southwest Beach, where to go snorkeling and sunbathe on white sand.
Another beach which must be taken into consideration is Long Set Beach in the south east of the island, where you'll find plenty of shells and crabs.
Sihanoukville
Sihanoukville used to be a seaside destination for the rich: today it is a popular tourist destination accessible to all. There is in fact a huge variety of hotels, restaurants, equipped beaches for water activities, clubs and accommodations for any budget and needs. The most famous beach is Sokha Beach, a wide coastline with white sand and calm shallow waters.
Kep
Kep was a faous seaside destination for the French colonialists in the early nineteenth century: today the ruins of their luxurious mansions stand forsaken. After the destruction carried out by the Red Khmer, the city was able to start and prosper again, becoming a lively tourist destination, thanks to beautiful tropical beaches.
Koh Rong Saloem
Koh Rong Saloem is a small island that can be reached after two hours sailing from Sihanoukville. One of the most famous beach is Sokha Beach, where one can relax in complete laziness as the name suggests or go snorkeling in the transparent waters.
Rabbit Island
Twenty minutes off the coast of Kep is a real paradise on Earth: Rabbit Island, actually Koh Tansay, whose shape resembles that of a rabbit. If you need to escape civilization this is the right place to go.
