Mohan Lamsal

Mohan founded Makalu Adventures in 1998, after having worked with another trekking office for 10 years. His main aim is providing highly professional and personalized services to all his clients and cater to the various needs and demands of the client.

As an adventurer by nature, he has trekked in all parts of Nepal and Tibet especially to discover about the logistics and feasibility of the new trekking and mountain biking routes.

With his high reputation and popularity Mohan Lamsal has been elected General Secretary of Nepal Trekking Association from 2011 to 2013. He later became the treasurer of the association. He also served as president of Nepal's porter association from 2009 to 2011. During this period he introduced many innovations for the welfare of the porters.

Having deep knowledge of the trekking, travel and the mountain biking business he frequently travels to America and European countries to take part in the various travel marts in order to market adventure products.
