Peru tour with spiritual trekking in the Quero lands and Machu Picchu
This spiritual tour of Peru is for travelers looking for authentic experiences, away from civilization and normal tourist routes. This spiritual journey allows you to learn about the culture and traditions of the descendants of the Inca, taking part in ancient initiations among the indigenous Quero communities.
The journey will start from Cusco to the town of Ocongate, followed by trekking to the Quero village of Colpa Cocho.
The Quero community has long been isolated over the past 500 years, with little contact with the Peruvian government and the Church, keeping the spiritual wisdom handed down from the Inca times intact.
During your stay at the Quero village you will have the unique opportunity to participate in the sacred ceremonies in honor of the Mother Earth (Pachamama), the Great Initiation of the Hunun Karpay, the Nusta Karpay (the initiation of the Seven Female Divinities), which since the Inca Empire have been exclusive rituals of the Quero community.
The Great Initiation (Hatun Karpay) lasts two hours and aims to open the heart (munay), the third eye (yanchai) and the energy of the belly (llankay). Instead, the ceremony of Nusta Karpay will awaken a profound relationship with the female divinity present in each person and in all of creation, connecting the individual with Mother Earth and all other living beings.
We then return to the Sacred Valley of Peru to visit Machu Picchu, one of the Seven Wonders of the World.
The Quero people live in villages located at over 4000 meters of altitude, so it is essential to be in good physical shape and come well equipped - you will be sent all the necessary information once we have received your booking.
During the journey, the local staff provides food, camping equipment if necessary (tents, sleeping bags) and horses to transport goods, equipment and food.
